Market Intelligence Manager at OGUK
Ross Dornan joined OGUK in 2013 and, after working in a number of roles, is currently Market Intelligence Manager within the organisations Upstream Policy team.
Ross is the author of several key industry reports, including OGUKs Economic Report and Business Outlook. Along with this he is engaged in cross industry initiatives, working closely with E&P and supply chain companies and industry regulators and stakeholders, to unlock efficiencies, improve business and operational performance and also to embrace the opportunities presented by the energy transition.
Ross is a graduate of the University of Stirling, where he completed BSc in Geography and an MSc in Energy Management.
Technology Fellow and Chief Data Scientist, Halliburton
Dr. Satyam Priyadarshy is a pioneer in the fields of data science, big data, analytics, and emerging technologies. The first Chief Data Scientist of Oil and Gas Industry, currently Technology Fellow and Chief Data Scientist at Halliburton. He is also a Member of the Mauritius Artificial Intelligence Council, Republic of Mauritius. Recently, he was listed in Constellation Research’s Business Transformation (BT150) list, it is a global elite list of the top global executives leading innovative business transformation across their organisations. In September 2016, Smart Industry named him as one of key innovators on the leading edge of digital transformation. A globally recognized leader with a breadth of scientific knowledge, in-depth technology experience, and extensive business acumen.
Chief Operating Officer, Petrofac
John joined Petrofac in October 2017 as Chief Corporate Development Officer and Group Managing Director, Western Hemisphere, responsible for the regional delivery of its Engineering and Production Services (EPS) business.
As Corporate Development Officer John worked alongside the Petrofac Board to further develop the Group’s reimbursable services strategy, with particular focus on growth initiatives.
In August 2018 John was appointed Chief Operating Officer of EPS globally. In this role he is accountable for the overall growth and delivery of EPS’ Operations, Projects, Engineering and Consultancy Services, Well Engineering and Training Services capabilities.
Prior to joining Petrofac, John spent 28 years with AMEC Foster Wheeler and five years with Chevron, in the UK and the US. His previous roles have included president of global oil, gas and chemicals, and multi-market roles running the Americas, Northern Europe and CIS region.
John holds a degree in Engineering from Aberdeen University. His interests include skiing, cycling, tennis and running.
Director, Consultancy ME&I at Lloyd’s Register
Ian Wilson is an experienced management consultant with 15 years of experience. Ian is a founding Director in Lloyd’s Register Management Consultancy practice, an initiative focused on integrating the organisation’s 250+ years of technical expertise, and deep understanding of complex assets, into a corporate advisory offering. Much of this involves working with conventional asset owners across the oil and gas, power and transportation sectors to efficiently address the challenges of market transition while maximising the value of legacy investments within a changing operational environment. In addition to working directly with asset owners, his experience in the GCC region includes work with Sovereign Investment Entities seeking to optimise and rebalance investment portfolios, and support to government regulatory functions as they seek to address changing market needs. Ian holds a MSc and BSc in Management & Economics.
President, Intecsea & SVP, Upstream, Midstream and LNG
Geeta has over 30 years of management and engineering experience with the last 25 years’ in professional services, project management, customer relationship management and leading businesses in the upstream oil & gas sector. Prior to her current appointments, she held a number of senior roles within Worley since joining in 2011. Geeta’s responsibilities span from leading Intecsea and our upstream, midstream, and LNG businesses. She has a global focus, engaging with our customers early in the asset lifecycle to provide practical solutions to our customers’ complex challenges. Geeta has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in chemical and materials engineering from the University of Auckland. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia.

Ahmed Salem is Executive Director for Downstream, Refining & Petrochemicalsfor Baker Hughes, covering the MENAT & India region. He holds 20+ years of expertise working across Oil & Gas, Refining & Petrochemical and Chemical industries. He is responsible for delivering topline growth through commercial intensity & key account management. Prior to his current role, Ahmed was the UAE Country Leader for GE Oil & Gas, responsible for driving growth, commercial excellence and partnership with customers across the portfolio, setting strategic direction to drive top and bottom-line growth, strengthening our commercial focus and building local capabilities. Before joining GE; he worked in DuPont Products Middle East & Africa as Regional Business and Operations Director of DuPont Sustainable solution. Providing consultancy and solutions for the Oil & Gas sector in the fields of Capital Effectiveness, Operational Excellence and Sustainability.
President, Strategy & Development, Asset Solutions EAAA (Europe, Africa, Asia & Australia), Wood
Wood’s President of Strategy & Development for EAAA has worked in a variety of leadership roles in the energy and chemicals sectors. He joined Foster Wheeler in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Business Development for the Americas region before being appointed President of Global Refining, Petrochemicals and Midstream markets. Prior to this, he held roles as Executive Director within the Energy and Chemicals business of Fluor Corporation, Vice President of Aker Solutions, USA, and Vice President of Kvaerner John Brown’s Chemicals and Polymers Business Group. Jim is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School. He has chaired the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Shanghai) Engineering and Construction Committee and served as an executive delegate of the United States China Business Council to the International Investment Forum.
