Leading SAP® consultancy, Absoft, has been awarded the prestigious SAP PartnerEdge Gold status, recognising its outstanding capabilities and expertise across the SAP platform.
As one of only 30 SAP Gold Partners in the UK, and the only Scottish-headquartered Gold Partner, Absoft has achieved the highest SAP accolade available to a company of its size and geographic reach.
Evaluated on an annual basis, Gold status was last awarded to the Aberdeen-based company in 2014, at a time when a large majority of its clients were active within the North Sea oil and gas industry.
The subsequent industry downturn led to a proactive strategy of streamlining and diversification, seeing Absoft double contributions from public sector clients and triple those from the transport sector, whilst creating a solid client base within new sectors, including hospitality. The company also spread its geographic wings and now works with a number of European and USA-based clients.
Commercial Director, Don Valentine, comments: “Whilst SAP PartnerEdge Gold status cannot be achieved on size of customer base alone, it is undeniable that the challenges experienced during the North Sea oil and gas downturn had an impact upon our status. Whilst our competency and strong commitment to delivering business value to our customers has not waivered, diversification into new markets has, understandably, taken time to yield the results we are now experiencing.
“The result is an Absoft that is stronger and more sustainable than ever before. Our recent return to Gold status is a fitting recognition of this, and our mission to provide customers with the expert, certified advice and support that contributes to their success.”
Consolidating its commitment to SAP excellence, Absoft is counted amongst just 5% of global SAP partners who have met the rigorous standards required to gain SAP Partner Centre of Expertise status.
