Job Summary

Our Client is looking for an IT Business Intelligence / BI Adoption Officer, on a permanent staff basis, location in Aberdeen

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for supporting and developing BI Usage globally. Main duties involve organizing BI Webinars, in-person or on-line BI training sessions for company employees.
  • Primary focus will be understanding the current training demands and scheduling, designing and developing training programs (outsourced or in-house) for our main BI tools: PowerBI and Oracle Analytics Cloud (former OBIEE).
  • Choosing appropriate training methods per case (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, etc)
  • Act as a Yammer BI channel community manager by animating and marketing: new BI solutions, new product features, new events and available training opportunities to employees.
  • Work closely with IT BI team members and the company University coordinators (regional and global) to understand local training needs and plan schedules. Work with end-users to understand their main issues and concerns and route them to the right persons for support.
  • Required to travel frequently to all different countries where company offices are located.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have:

  • Candidate must have relevant professional IT/Technology experience and experience in training people.
  • Experience in designing Training Materials and Training Videos
  • Must have experience in training end users on Power BI or any other BI tools.
  • Good understanding of data analysis using Excel, Power BI and other BI tools.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Required to speak and train fluency in English
  • Professional IT/Technology experience and experience in training people

Nice to have:

  • Hands on experience in building reports and KPIs in Power BI is preferred.
  • Knowledge of OBIEE/OAC, BW/BO, PowerBI desktop,
  • Experience in working with an International team
  • Ability to speak Portuguese/French language would be a real plus
  • Experience as a business analyst would be a plus
